Monday? oh well,, it has been a week since my last vacation Bali. My mind and my heart is still not moving from the God Island on by the way. On vacation yess indeed I always take picture a lot. If I didn’t control myself it could be 20 shoots just for a particular object. Lol. Freaky, isn’t it? Meanwhile not only picture I take during vacation but also lesson learn or insight which can make my life more valuable.

I now realize that every time I go vacation I tend to bring many stuff. I feel I become more well-prepared than few years ago. It is often happen that some clothes I bring still clean after I come back. Beside that when I visit some tourism object I often don’t use any stuff I bring with, for example towel, extra tees, monopod, facial wash, snack, and so on. To take picture, I bring DSLR Cam and iphone, plus monopod and tripod. I worried being dehydrated so I bring extra water

On last Bali trip I paid attention to some foreign tourists then found that they were so simple. I didn’t see they brought bag with many stuff like me. They just took away what they really need. Also, I seldom see they brought DSLR. A small pocket cam is enough!

I learn for next trip I will be simpler. Just taking away what I really need. If my clean clothes out of stock I can do laundry or even buy some new ones. More simple isn’t? in this era also, I don’t think that we still need big camera (DSLR) to capture picture unless we are really photographer or ones who freak for superb amazing pics. Pocket camera or phone camera is enough.

I understand prepared for everything is good but it sometimes make us uncomfortable.

I have just come back from vacation in Bali. I visited several same places like usual. The new place I love is Bali Bird Park. It has been so long time I dreamed to visit this place since I read on travel magazine and watched travel show that describing how unique this place is.

Bali Bird Park is located in Gianyar, about 40 minutes to the north from Kuta by motorcycle. So, it is not so hot as downtown Kuta, Denpasar for the location is near to Ubud. The number of tourist is not too crowded just like in Uluwatu or wherever in popular spot like there near beach. I saw foreign tourist was more in number than local. It could probably because of the ticket price which is bit higher for local than other tourism object. It cost IDR 100.000,-. By purchasing the ticket you get access to Bali Bird Park and Reptile Park.

There were some big beautiful macaws welcoming us before stepping further inside the park. I am quite sure you don’t wanna miss the moment by taking out your camera to get their picture. When I entered the area, there were being a bird show. We, the visitors were explained about some varies of bird in fun way. It was so lovely to see and get direct interaction to those birds. I liked to see kinda macaw or parrots by the way. I love their colour!

Bali Bird Park is divided into some block based on their varieties or where they are coming from originally; Borneo, Java, Papua, etc. Each block is a very huge cage that made as real habitat of their own. I felt I was in real forest when walk across inside the cage. Surprisingly we can meet bird easily, birds were everywhere. From iny one to bigger one like peacock! I saw big peacock with their beautiful feathers. My favorite one was Papua!! I really felt like in forest in Papua. I imagined it could be like that the real jungle in Papua.

Bali Bird Park is sooooo cool and fun! The place, the birds, the show, all were very awesome! What do you want to see? Please, you just name it. Flamigo, owl, eagle, or even black swan and albino peacock are present! The beautiful duck just like in Europe is exist too. There we will not see the sad animal like in some zoo in Indonesia. All animal looks happy!

I don’t give much story about the reptile park as I am not their fan yet. Overall in reptile we can see some kind of reptile; snake, iguana, and crocodile. As reptile tends to be cooler than birds, we cant get intimate interation just like birds.

Bali Bird Park is not too large as zoo but it is wrapped very well. It has international standard. If you bored enough of beach, so just go there! Calm you down interestingly. It is so worth it! I rate 9/10.

Haloo, have a good morning for you from here; island of God. I am posting here far far away from Jakarta. So lucky the hotel i've stayed untill tomorroow has super fast wi-fi.

Well, Bali trip has already become mandatory trip for me since 2013. I always go here in March, couple weeks before Nyepi. The fun fact about this year trip is that my journey now has the longest time; 5 days 4 night! Such a pleasure for me-office worker. I thank very much to my super kind boss for this opportunity.

I won't tell much about the place I have visited or whatever I've done so far. I will update it soon after I go back to Jakarta. Let me show you some pic I've managed to take.

Social and Politic Expert
Those who like writing any claim, comments towards government and public figure whom become hot issue lately. Mr. President is the most object in this topic, followed by people working in government sector then anyone who is gotten pay attention to by public. The main characteristic of this category is that they tend to give ‘not so good’ statement that sometimes rude enough and consider as if an expert of certain issue. Seldom do I find them talking in a positive vibe.

Let Me Know They Like to Read
The amount of this category member as not many as previous category. Those appear in my facebook home with linked to article from any website. They usually give some comment as kinda bridging to the link. Yess, it sometimes lets me know about interesting article but when the intensity is too much, it interferes then.

Story Teller
Just like the tittle above these friends always write down their update in a long detail story just like an article. They tell about their activity and feeling during the day. They tell their story when cooking-complete with recipe, when their kid managed to stand up and so on. There is a friend like to make kinda short fiction story in very

Random
This includes they who like posting picture (linked to Instagram), they update their activity, complain about weather, talking about love, thanking God, or other thing but in a simple sentence. They express their feeling just in sentence; could be compound or even compound complex sentence . They don’t make paragraph. Seems like the facebook that I know for the first time.

My favorite is Story Teller since I know they are smart or artistic people and it is reflected in the way the story tells. Reading their story for sure I often get any enlightenment. The runner up of my fav goes to Let Me Know They Like to Read and Random. Meanwhile I don’t like most The Expert for any reasons. BUT for any reason also I keep them there. They sometimes seems so know-it-all but they are my friend tho. hehe.

Last night I watched ‘A Christmas Carol’ to spend my spare time before my weekend totally ends. What surprised me is the movie gave me valuable perspective how to live well by taking less and giving more; helping others as long as you live and one thing, we are advised not to be a greedy person.

I rated The Movie which is adopted from Dickens’ novel 8.5/100. Then I checked the recommended movie references website: IMDB and shocking me then by finding it rated 6.8/10! Unbelievable! (in my point of view) for the kinda good movie like that. For me ‘A Christmas Carol’ is a simply simple movie with full of life lesson learn to make a better people and environment.

I was curios enough about what IMDBers reviewed about the movie on website. By random checking and quick reading I found the reviews were good tho. There are several reviewer rate it movie more than 8! One of them wrote “The truth is that this is one of the most beautiful and faithful remakes of the Dickens classic” and “Both children and adults will gain more from this experience than most family films” and I agree with it. However there are some also who gave very low grade. There is one rated 1/10. In his opinion the movie is very disappointing. “Overall I found the movie to be cold, depressing and one of the least satisfying versions of A Christmas Carol that I have ever seen. I own more than 20 different versions of this story on tape and DVD. This version will NOT be part of my collection” he wrote.

Don’t you think it is interesting? There are two kind of reviews which different at one another. Well, the goodness of thing (movie, in this case) is indeed entirely subjective which is surely influenced by one’s experience, spirit, and idealism. Therefore it is fine to have different discretions since we have our own standard. But we must realize sometimes our standard is able to make our life complicated, instead of simple. Beware of it!

As the conclusion, first, I do respect to the creator of ‘A Christmas Carol’ the movie. I know it released in late 2009. Pretty long time ago, but I believe every single thing has their beautiful time and place. The movie suits me in this year. Second, better for me not to check IMDB before watching a movie. Then let me check after watching to compare with another reviewer. That is wiser I guess.

it is already March unconsciously. Slowly but sure time flies and I hope you and I can balance your life as fast as the time. You grow better, bolder, wiser, and healthier and off course happier. Amen for those!

I am so happy welcoming this month as I have some trip agendas which has been planned since last year. Meanwhile I thank God also for one of my kinda resolution was achieved, not going as well as planned but quite finely acceptable.

One thing I must say March is one of my fav moth in a year. I usually have beautiful trips in March. My wallet is singing out loud and for sure I show myself that I can pass through then say good bye for February. I don’t know why February tends to hate me every year? why?? :p
